This intricate, detailed piece has many elements of a cosmopolitan ancient world. The mandala shape resembles the Tang era Chinese motifs which were results of influences from India, Central Asia and indigenous Chinese patterns. Imbued with the best wishes, the flowers of the upcoming spring bring you everything that you desire with the 5 ruyi motifs circling it.

Adapted from the unique feather inlay traditions of ancient Chinese, we opted to use peacock feathers for its iridescence and its deep, intense colours.

There are three different types of feather colours to choose from:

Emerald: Predominantly various shades of green.

Opal: A wonderful play of colours with greens, blues and turquoise and occasionally some yellows. Pretty much like opal that’s without its reds.

Sapphire: Mainly deep, rich, intense blue.

The feathers are iridescent and would change under different lightings.

Base of Brass with gold gilding, inlay with peacock feather and synthetic pearls, the earring fillings are of 925 silver.

Handmade feather inlay with natural peacock feather is unique and will have different iridescence and colour gradient from one another. It is impossible to find two that are exactly the same. Actual product will vary slightly from the sample image.
