Description

I have paired the bag with also a lilac (more purplish) tassel which is made using a similar technique as the type of tassels that were popular on the Imperial Seals during Emperor Qianlong’s reign. It is called the Revolving Dragon’s Whiskers Tassel, and is constructed differently from the usual tassels in the market to prevent fraying of the thread at the end of the tassels. It is handmade by skilled craftsmen and not replaceable by machine at this point in time.

I try to be as accurate as possible to the item’s original colours, but due to the difference in screen resolutions and configurations of various devices, the actual item might be slightly different from the image you see. But it will always be better looking in actuality as is the nature of muted silk kimono textiles. The delightful surprise of traditional craftsmanship is always reserved for the up-close and personal encounters.

A sling strap (not included in the purchase) can be added to the bag to sling it instead of carrying it by hand all the time (see last image for reference).
