[SOLD] Pale Lilac Silk Kimono mini dumpling handbag [Unique]
Handmade mini dumpling bag utilises pure silk kimono fabric repurposed into a bag. Due to the rarity of silk kimono fabrics, all of the motifs are hand printed/painted and are unique. You will never find the same bag anywhere else as well since the bag is also handmade therefore the choice of pattern for the placement of the silk kimono fabric is also unique.
The bag is in a muted pinkish-lilac tone, and goes with many different types of dresses since it is not of high saturation, as is typical of many Kimono designs to emit a sense of quiet and understated luxury and finesse.
Mini dumpling bag holds about 1-1.5l of items (a 0.5l water bottle, a hand phone, a lipstick, a compact powder, and a few small items)

Description
I have paired the bag with also a lilac (more purplish) tassel which is made using a similar technique as the type of tassels that were popular on the Imperial Seals during Emperor Qianlong’s reign. It is called the Revolving Dragon’s Whiskers Tassel, and is constructed differently from the usual tassels in the market to prevent fraying of the thread at the end of the tassels. It is handmade by skilled craftsmen and not replaceable by machine at this point in time.
I try to be as accurate as possible to the item’s original colours, but due to the difference in screen resolutions and configurations of various devices, the actual item might be slightly different from the image you see. But it will always be better looking in actuality as is the nature of muted silk kimono textiles. The delightful surprise of traditional craftsmanship is always reserved for the up-close and personal encounters.
A sling strap (not included in the purchase) can be added to the bag to sling it instead of carrying it by hand all the time (see last image for reference).
