Rendered in a pastel brocade of seafoam, blush, and gold, the design captures the Tang ideal of movement and freedom — where mythical steeds gallop across waves and clouds. Each fold reveals subtle transitions of colour and sheen, a modern echo of the zari and jin weaving traditions that once connected Persia, India, and China through trade and artistry.

Cut in a versatile modern length, the skirt’s structure retains the iconic side pleats of the mamian silhouette, softened for contemporary wear. The waistband features a sleek brass buckle closure with a 3 cm adjustable range, balancing heritage silhouette with comfort and mobility.

Hidden side pockets offer functionality without disrupting form, while optional magnetic buckles (additional $20) can be added to the front and back to prevent the skirt from lifting in movement or breeze.
